Holcobatch black 18909

Holcobatch black 18909 is a micro-granule colorant (0.4 mm) with a bio-wax-based carrier, specifically developed for EPS applications. Thanks to its low melting point (80°C) and fine particle structure, the color is released quickly, ensuring excellent and uniform color distribution.

Coloring EPS with Holland Colours technology is extremely practical. No flammable solvents are required during the expansion process, resulting in a safer and cleaner production environment.

No additional investment is needed for EPS coloring; Holcobatch can be added manually directly into the expander. In facilities where colored EPS is produced frequently, it can be easily integrated with automated feeding systems. The Movacolor T-Kit dosing unit, suitable for both batch and continuous production, provides high process control.

Vibrant and attractive pastel shades can be achieved with dosing levels of up to 0.5%. Higher dosing levels may affect the integrity of the final product; however, this depends on the specific application. Deep colors and black shades are not possible. In addition to the standard color palette, customized color development is also available for project-specific requirements.
